UFC Fight Night Live: Diaz vs Guillard
This is how I (Koa) see the fights going... i have a feeling i'm gunna go about 50/50 like usual hahah.
Diaz Vs Guillard
It's always hard for me to root against Nate Diaz because i like his heart and i like what he represents, but in the last couple fights he's kind of disappointed me. I'd like to see him step in for the kill a little bit more often and i think it's going to be hard against a bigger opponent again in Guillard. I think maybe Nate should move down to 145.... that would be dope. I'm picking Guillard to win this fight but i hope I'm wrong.
Maynard Vs Huerta
I like this fight because both Maynard and Huerta have shown that they can hang with the big dogs. They both have a shitload of heart and they both give it 100 percent. It bothered me when i heard rumors about Huerta not coming back to the UFC because he wanted to be a model or something.... I think Maynard lives and breathes this sport a little bit more and i think he'll grind out the victory. Maynard to win a BATTLE.
Condit Vs Ellenberger
I'm excited to see Condit fight again. You gotta love his attitude and his game face and everything he brings to the game. It'll be nice to see him fight someone as experienced as Ellenberger. I expect Condit to win. This is going to be a war though, I can feel it. Both these guys have about a million KO's TKO's & submissions. Go Condit.
Quarry > Creudeur
Stann > Cantwell to finish off the trilogy
Wilson > Pyle
Silva > Dollaway (anghhh... why not?)
Stout > Nover
Stephens > Buchholz
Larson > Pierce
Ryan Jensen (finally) > Steinbeiss

The Fight Card Guys: UFC 102
The Fight Card Guys are LIVE from Oregon!!!
Let's get down to the nitty gritty shall we? In My (Koa) opinion i think UFC 102 is the most stacked card we've seen in a long time. In ever single fight i have at least one, sometimes two of my favorite fighters. That being said, Here's my picks:
Ed herman will beat Aaron Simpson
Chris Tuchscherer will beat Gabe Gonzaga (call me crazy... but i'm doin' it)
Justin McCully will beat Mike Russow
Tim Hague will beat Todd Duffee
Mark Munoz will beat Nick Catone
Evan Dunham will beat Marcus Aurelio
Here's what Caleb thinks:
Aaron Simpson
Gabe Gonzaga
Justin McCully
Tim Hague
Mark Munoz
& Marcus Aurelio

Koa The Fight Card Kid TUF 9 Finale

Diego Sanchez Vs. Clay Guida
I think the UFC finally found someone who can keep up with Guida. I don't really like watching Guida fight but i respect what he does in there. I think Sanchez is just a more dangerous fighter. While Guida isn't always looking for the kill, i think Sanchez is. As long as Sanchez doesn't get worn out i'm behind him 100 percent to KO or TKO Guida. Sanchez wins.
DaMarques Johnson Vs. James Wilks
Not a big fan of DaMarques but i think he's determined to win this fight. Most of the TUF crew thinks DaMarques was the best fighter in the house, so he has alot to prove tonight. I like Wilks but i think his chin is gunna get tested in this fight. I don't exactly know why, but i'm gunna have to go with DaMarques in this one. DaMarques wins.
Chris Lytle Vs. Kevin Burns
I really want to pick Burns for the upset but i just can't do it. I think it's going to be a great standup war and Burns is going to better than alot of people think, but i have a feeling he's gunna get caught by a few of Lytle's shots. Both of them can get a little crazy, both are pretty ballsy but i just see Lytle coming out the victor. Lytle wins.
Ross Pearson Vs. Andre Winner
I picked Pearson to win the finale at the first episode of the show, therefore i must remain faithful. I do think Winner could very well come out the winner (see how i did that?) but i have faith that Pearson will finish him off. Pearson wins.
Joe Stevenson Vs. Nate Diaz
Diaz will have an advantage on the feet but i don't think he's going to execute very well. I think he needs to use his range to keep the distance but he didn't do that very well with Guida. On the ground Joe daddy will be the stronger fighter but Diaz is very good off his back. I hope this turns out to be a good jiu jitsu match.... as long as Nate Diaz doesn't get thrown around and man handled on the ground i think he'll be fine. Diaz wins.
Just for the shit of it, Here's my preliminary predictions:
Jason Dent vs Cameron Dolla Dolla Bills y'all.
I wasn't TOOOO impressed with either of these guys on the show. Although Dent has alot more experience with professional fights including the UFC and he's fairly hard to finish off (still lost a bunch of decisions) thus far, I'll be rooting for Cameron in this fight. Partly because I met him and he's a pretty cool guy, and partly because i like his attitude. In order to win, i think Cameron has to stay away from Dent's submissions and I think he'll be fine. Cameron wins.
Nick Osipczak vs Frankie 4 teeth Lester.
How can you not root for Lester? hahah he's not that good but he really does put it all on the line. Judging by the show, i think Nick will win this fight. But like i've said before, if Lester has been training hard, with good coaches and learned how to throw straight punches and cleaned up his boxing he might have a good shot at winning. Nick wins.
Tomasz Drwal vs Mike Ciesnolevicz
I like Mike C in this fight. Coming out of the Militich fighting system i think he's a pretty tough guy. I just see him winning this fight. although i am thrown off by the weight class. Is this heavy weight or light heavyweight?! haha. Mike wins
Brad Blackburn vs Edgar Garcia
I think Blackburn should have a nice advantage fighting a wrestler/boxer in Garcia. Blackburn should dominate every aspect of this fight and should be able to take it where he wants it. Plus he's from WA. Brad wins.
Melvin Guillard Vs. Gleison Tibau
This is hard for me. Big Tibau fan, but Guillard is dangerous. I think Tibau with withstand the flurries of Guillard and be able to hold his own on the feet. But i think Tibau has the edge on the mat. Guillard should be able to keep it a fast pace fight and if Tibau can keep up i think he'll be fine. Tibau wins. shit. or does guillard win a decision? ahhhhh. Tibau wins.

UFC 99: Prelims
Both us Fight Card Guys have basically the same preliminary picks.... Seems to be a pattern.
Etim
Hart
Taylor
Kelly
Stojnic
Hathaway
The only difference is I (koa) am gunna switch it up and pick Struve to beat Stojnic... i'm just going out on a wim and say Struve can outlast him due to conditioning... it's just a guess though because we havent really seen anything good from any of these fighters.

UFC 97 post fight
Caleb and Koa discuss how UFC 97 went down, and what's to come in the future. Cheick Kongo title shot? Georges St Pierre vs Anderson Silva? And of course our hats go off to "Chuck The Ice Man" Liddell for everything he's done for us and the sport of mixed martial arts. Watch as they break it all down.
Koa gets his 3rd win in a row, but not without a fight. (see how i did that??)
